Nice upgrade from my old Fibergraft shaft

I tried this carbon fiber pool cue tip while doing some practice games at home and it turned out to be a nice little upgrade. The tip feels solid and responsive when striking the cue ball, giving a good balance of control and power during shots. I tested it during a few longer practice sessions and it held its shape well without flattening out quickly like some cheaper tips tend to do. The carbon fiber design also gives it a clean modern look on the cue which is a nice bonus. Overall it feels durable and performs consistently, making it a good option if you want a cue tip that holds up well during regular play.

High Quality Shaft, But Pricey for a Casual Player (Shaft Only!)

I made a rookie mistake and ordered this BLKCUESHARK pool cue, so I am writing this review to help other casual players avoid my mistake. I misunderstood the product description and expected a full, single pool cue, but this is a single-piece shaft only (the top half with the tip).

The shaft and tip look and feel very well-made and high quality. The quality is certainly there.

However, in my opinion, the price just for the shaft is a bit high. Because of the total cost involved in now having to purchase a separate butt piece with the correct joint hardware, I don't think the full investment will be worth it for someone like me who doesn't play pool very often.

If you are a frequent player or in need of a specific high-end replacement shaft, this is a great component. If you are a casual player expecting a complete cue, be aware of the total cost involved.
